 Dominio is Latin for a feast or banquet. It is also Spanish for territory or dominion. We strive to produce wines that are indeed fit for a feast and that represent the unique area in which they are made.
The IV refers to four people, four wines, four seasons, four vineyards and the four quadrants of the labyrinth. Our intent is to create an estate winery known largely for its red varietals. Foremost among our reds is the Spanish grape Tempranillo. Syrah is the next pole in our banquet tent. The most recent addition to our red line-up is a Pinot Noir, the predominate varietal in Oregon. Our reds are complemented by the rich aromatics and refreshing crispness of our Viongier, a delightful white wine ideal for a warm summer day.
